Noses can be deceiving, as yours will attest to that once it has a whiff of Salentein Barrel Selection Malbec. The cooler climate, closer proximity to the sun and the addition of melted glacier water for irrigation at Salentein definitely produce wines of unrivalled quality! Gorgeous aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, delicate floral with a touch of spice. Yet, you will soon find this wine is packed with fresh, juicy flavors! Intense dark plum, ripe cherry, blueberry with some vanilla and earthiness. And a slight sage/basil combo lingering at the back of the mouth. What a wonderful conundrum to drink with a beef Wellington or, if you fancy, a crunchy wagyu beef taro puff! Gold winner at Decanter World Wine Awards 2018 and part of Decanter's 2020 top 10 Argentina Malbec's to try.

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
