Familia is the pride of the De Martino family! And as it should because it is produced using the best grapes from the Santa Inés estate on Isla de Maipo and rated as the best Premium wine in Chile two years in a row. Not to mention, 2007 was one of the best vintages in Chile (drier and cooler than usual). Intense, ripe aromas of blackberry, cassis, fig and licorice, layered with eucalyptus, plum, forest floor and a hint of pepper. Ripe dark berries, plum and violet flavour continue in the mouth as touches of spice and toasted wood develop. Firm but ripe tannins with a long and pleasant finish. Celebrate this family pride with a few beef, fig and red onion balsamic skewers or some pepper-crusted ahi-tuna!

Wine guys' wine guides
Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
