With fruit carefully selected in their esteemed parts of their vineyards and paired with their traditional winemaking methods, this wine is complex, concentrated and harmonious. Ripe plum and dark berry flavours, interlaced with licorice and a hint of chocolate at the finish. Lush velvety tannins. A bottle like this needs something hearty to go with it – try gnocchi with brown butter, pancetta and sage or an old-fashioned beef stew with steaming carrots and potatoes!
