A wine that can withstand the test of time, Villa Girardi Amarone is truly bold and epic! Unique to the Valpolicella region, it uses air-dried grapes for fermentation. Meaning "the Great Bitter", Amarone has a signature sweet bitter lingering finish. La Girardi's version is elegant with intense aromas of raspberry, dark fruit, tobacco and sweet cedar. Lush tastes of dark chocolate, plum, cherry, and crushed violet with a rich and smooth texture in the mouth. Absolute delight to drink now, either a gamey dish or as an after-dinner drink. Also a great addition to the cellar as it ages very well.

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
