Matsu is a special project that pays tribute to the three generations of wine growers who devoted their lives to the vineyards. The wines curated are unique and of exceptional quality from the Toro region in Spain. It celebrates and shows respect to their work and sacrifices. Each wine produced under this project has a photo label of a real-life wine grower. The team, spearheaded by the one and only Raúl Acha, follows the traditional way of winemaking – minimal intervention with organic and biodynamic processes. The essence of this project is symbolized in their name, Matsu – meaning ‘wait’ and respect for nature in Japanese.
