Transpiring from a piece of artwork well-admired by Steve Green (Carrick’s original owner), “The Death of Von Tempsky” plays on the true contrast between the old and the new. Just like the lithograph, this beautiful wine is crafted from the ancient ways of grape fermentation in a modern setting. Its intense floral, fruit and honey aromas come from the fruit-forward style of a Central Otago Riesling, while its unfiltered self gives a mouthfeel and richness that resembles an ancient amphora wine. Lovely layers of orange, lemon, apricot and lime zest, with a great refreshing finish. An absolute favourite with green mango salad with (at least) a dozen of chicken satays! Zero additions, unfined, and unfiltered. Carefully hand-bottled on premise using natural cork and beewax seal. 100% natural wine from organic vineyards farmed based on biodynamic principles.

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
