Widely recognised as one of the world's great Riesling producers, the Watervale vineyard is truly special to the Mitchells. With the first plantings done by Grandfather Peter, it's now tended by his grandson, Angus, using the same traditional techniques. Swirl the glass and you get intense aromas of lemon, lime rind, spring flowers and a touch of grapefruit. The flavours are pure and just as concentrated with green apple, white peach interlaced with minerality and a lingering, refreshing finish. Powerful, elegant and full of finesse!
