A captivating red from our Champagne icon, Charles Heidsieck Coteaux Champenois Ambonnay Rouge is an elegant beauty that's not to be missed! This wine showcases the richness and purity of Ambonnay, a Grand Cru emblematic of Champagne and a terroir at the very heart of the history and identity of Maison Charles Heidsieck. The vines for this 2022 vintage yielded grapes of remarkable quality, combining abundance, ripeness and freshness in a radiant, perfectly balanced Pinot Noir with outstanding depth! Complex kirsch-like aromas reveal elegant notes of morello cherries and blackberries, with a delicate touch of spice opening into chocolate nuances reminiscent of Black Forest gateau, with subtle hints of rosemary and sloe berry. A long, structured palate offers gorgeous flavours of red fruits supported by an elegant freshness, with a dense and intense balsamic finish. Absolutely lush! Pair this with a fine Peking duck or wild mushroom risotto.
