Sitting at the gateway to the "Champs-Elysées of Burgundy", the village of Gevrey-Chambertin in Côte de Nuits is home to the fabulous Chambertin-Clos de Beze Grand Cru, where Moillard makes this dazzlingly ruby-hued wine. Powerful nose of toasty coffee, leafy undergrowth and stewed fruits, with nice acidity and complex aromatics on the palate and a remarkably strong finish. An excellent match for spicy dishes, serve this with something special like hot and peppery Sichuan rabbit – also brilliant for boards of strong, stinky cheeses! A gem worth cellaring for 10-15 years.

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
