Named for the ancient Japanese art of “golden joinery” (broken fragments of ancient pottery pieced together with gold-laced lacquer), Ministry of Clouds Kintsugi meticulously blends only the very finest old vine fruit from a single year – in other words, simply the best Southern Rhone-inspired wine that can be made in a year! This elegant wine boasts stunning aromas of floral red fruit, cardamom and five spice from old vine Grenache, alongside a hint of intense blue fruit from mineral-laden Shiraz fruit. Seductive layers of crunchy red berries on the palate with lingering sandy tannins and bright acidity through a long finish. Be sure to decant this beauty for as long as you can – though it's hard to resist diving right in! Try it alongside a creative fusion dish of chorizo claypot rice, or paprika-spiced grilled chicken.
