Made from low-yielding, 60-year old vines, De Martino Single Vineyard Carignan Reserva El Leon celebrates the distinctive character of old vineyards in Maule Valley, which (for reasons that remain a mystery!) were planted long ago with several different varieties mixed up at random – some remain impossible to identify! Ruby in the glass with deep shades of violet, this super fresh wine has bundles of ripe red fruit, spices and dry leaves on the nose. Its standout acidity makes for a uniquely crisp palate, with soft, gentle tannins and great length. A carnivore's delight, as it's perfect with all the meats – simply scrumptious with grandma's beef and tomato stir-fry, too!

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
