Made from the fruit of an unconventional year, Charles Heidsieck Brut Millésimé 2013 is a pure and powerful treasure that dazzles with its elegance and complexity! This unique, luscious vintage is known for being both exceptionally fresh and generously rich, with dynamic yet delicate bubbles. The nose first reveals enticingly aromatic and intense toasted and smoky notes along with ripe fruit; give it a swirl in the glass to unlock heartier dimension and touches of apricot and fresh-picked peaches! On the palate, a taut and decisive attack with creamy texture, crisp fruitiness and salinity, with spiced notes of cinnamon, liquorice and pepper. This is a wine worthy of long cellaring, and deserving of fine cuisine – Charles Heidsieck recommends flaky pigeon and pine nut pastilla, roasted asparagus with aged balsamic, shrimp tempura and of course, artisan cheeses, such as Corsican Brocciu and Ossau-Iraty. A true gem!
