It’s rare to have a perfect vintage but 2008 is “close to perfection” as Charles Heidsieck’s cellar master, Cyril Brun, stated. That truly resonates in Charles Heidsieck Rosé Millésimé 2008! Already named as “a marathon wine”, this rosé will truly stand against the test of time! Crafted with a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (from 11 meticulously selected Grands and Premiers Crus) with 9% red wine, this gem shares almost the same base as its 2008 vintage white counterpart. Therefore, that red wine portion is the crown jewel providing this wine colour and character! Expect nothing but exceptional complexity from this wine - lovely lean mineral/saline nose in the beginning with hints of toast and smoke, fruity aromas of citrus, pink grapefruit, redcurrant and blood orange, while deeper nuances of Morello cherry, liquorice and black tea develop with time. Vivacious, beautiful and bright in the mouth with long creamy finish and a touch of delicate effervescence after every sip. Silky and plush, this rosé will continue to exhilarate our tastebuds with its freshness for a long time! Experience a Japanese omakase with this bottle or enjoy a delicious salmon tartar with fresh figs from the comfort of your own home!

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
