Moillard Savigny Les Beaunes Vieilles Vignes is going to be your friend on nights you want to elevate your evening in – it’s a wonderful wine to have as your go-to Pinot Noir! Although burgundies are getting pricier by the day, the Savigny, while crafted from old vine fruit (ie. less fruit from the vines but more concentrated and higher quality), is fantastic value and drinks like any higher-priced reds from the region. Gorgeous red fruit aromas with cherry, strawberry and raspberry, with flavours of vanilla and toasty notes. Balanced and harmonious in the mouth with a little acidity adding pleasant freshness through the finish. Pair with your favorite fiery chicken curry or a charcuterie board of cured meats (especially some spicy ones!).
