Representing the "sexy future" of South African wine while still paying homage to the past, ArtiSons JJ Eight Pillars is a memorable blend you don't want to miss! The namesake "Eight Pillars" refer to the eight grape varieties used in the blend, harvested from a combination of older bush vines – all 30 years plus. This wine offers aromas of white pepper spice with lifted violet notes, accompanied by dark, brooding undertones. These carry forward to a spicy palate, with some gamey notes followed by a structured, velvety aftertaste crafted by the Bordeaux varieties. A wine that stands up to strong flavours, it's a perfect match for North Indian curries and other bold spice-driven dishes.

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
