Search no further for a young and vivacious red than Salentein Portillo Malbec! The name, Portillo, or ‘gateway’ in Spanish, reflects the origin of the grapes – near the high elevation crossings along the Andes Mountain Range. With cooler climate, closer proximity to the sun and the addition of melted glacier water for irrigation, wines produced there are of unrivalled quality! Bursts of red fruit with standout aromas of wild plum and blackberry, while fresh and fruity flavours dance around the mouth in every sip. Round tannins and long, sweet finish. Best with a sizzling lamb burger with feta cheese or a simple beef and broccoli stir-fry.

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
