Since 1983, only 10 cuvées have been produced, and this one is a true showstopper: a precise and luminous interpretation of Chardonnay, shaped by time and ranked amongst the best in the world. This graceful, harmonious wine is radiantly pale gold with a fine stream of bubbles, boasting its incredible freshness and purity with every memorable sip. On the nose, indulgent pastry-like and creamy aromas of toasted brioche, butter and shortcrust pastry, with hints of fresh and roasted hazelnut, flaked almond, Bourdaloue tart, nuanced florals such as violet and dried white flowers. The silky, creamy palate evokes the delicacy of lace, remarkably refreshing, elegant and long with a touch of salinity and a chalky minerality. Enjoy this bottle with grilled tiger prawns or beef carpaccio dressed with capers, toasted hazelnuts, anchovies and sun-dried tomatoes.
