A celebration of some of Chile's most remote vineyards, Las Olvidadas is a distinctive and complex wine made from some very, very old Santa Cruz Vineyard vines – up to 300 years! Using a traditional process, local winemakers push the fruit through a "zaranda" – an Itata Valley tool made of wood and canes that separates the stems from the berries, which fall into open bins to be vinified with native yeasts. Pale-hued and sensationally aromatic with plush notes of red fruit, herbs, rose petals and little hint of gunpowder. Firm, structured tannins create both wonderful intensity and a delicious texture on the palate, with delightful fruit flavours and fresh acidity. Elegant, vibrant and super limited – only about 2000 bottles produced! Enjoy now, or cellar and let its complexities blossom over the next decade! Serve slightly chilled, ideally with a fatty roast duck or claypot mushroom rice.

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
