A youthful and bright expression of its brother Gaudium, this wine is produced with the smallest and finest parcel of grapes from the estate's old vineyards (some over 120 years) only in excellent vintages with limited bottles. Gorgeous and refined, this gem gives classic aromas of dark berries, creamy oak and a touch of toastiness. Old vine essence and new style each come through via full mouthfeel, delicious flavours and an abundance of lively, juicy tannins. A wonderful accompaniment to a gamey dishes – roast pigeon or Peking duck, anyone?

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
