Widely recognised as one of the world's great Riesling producers, McNicol vineyard is known to be the prettiest in all of Clare Valley. So, it's not a surprise that the grapes from this plot of land makes uber gorgeous and rare wine! Only 500 cases of the McNicol Riesling is produced each time and is cellared longer onsite to allow the complexity to evolve. Expect well-integrated flavours of citrus, apple, toast, honey with slight touches of minerality, beeswax and kerosene (common in aged Riesling). Layers of lemon butter and candied citrus and ginger right at the finish. Savour this bottle with a simple lemon risotto or pair it with 3-cup chicken stew!

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
