Powerful nose of toasty coffee, leafy undergrowth and stewed fruits, with nice acidity and complex aromatics on the palate and a remarkably strong finish. An excellent match for spicy dishes, serve this with something special like hot and peppery Sichuan rabbit – also brilliant for boards of strong, stinky cheeses!
