Grown in region that's produced renowned red burgundies for centuries, Moillard-Grivot Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les Damodes is a bottle you bring out when meeting the parents! The plot "Les Damodes" is located on a sloping parcel next to the famous Nuits Saint Georges town, which gives the region's name. A ruby red gem, this wine has a delightful nose of little red fruits and blackcurrants, with spice and flavours of fresh cut wood through the finish. Surprisingly rich in the mouth with pleasant tannins. Invite everyone over for a posh Sunday roast of tandoori rack of lamb, or save it for dessert with a board of fine French cheeses (Munster, Maroilles, Epoisses, Langres, Ami du Chambertin...)

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
