Deliciously fresh and complex, Ropiteau Chablis Premiuer Cru Vaillons packs a punch in flavours, but never punchy in the wallet! Produced with high quality grapes in the region (the vineyards in the climat Vaillons has a Premier Cru distinction for this reason), this bottle is value for money and one that should be in your wine fridge at all times! While crisp with its apple aroma, the fragrance evolves to ripe peach and juicy mandarin with subtle hints of almond as the wine warms up. Fresh flavours of pear, stone fruit and touches of chamomile, minerality and Provencal herbs. Light-to-medium body and just slightly creamy feel in the mouth. Definitely a foodie type of wine - try this with a decadent truffle mac & cheese, a coconut lobster curry or even eggs benny!
