Pinot Noir is a demanding grape, only a few regions in Australia provide the right elements for it to flourish. Enter Soumah with their meticulous care and eye, and of course, the great Yarra Valley itself! Fermented in quality French oak barrels, Pinot Noir d’Soumah is classically elegant with an exuberance of cherry and strawberry aromas, gentle layers of leather, forest floor and a hint of truffle. The palate continues with a medley of blackberry, cranberry, red cherry and strawberry as well as ripe plum. Subtle spice with touches of savouriness and vanilla. Soft tannins with a lovely medium length finish. A great bottle to pair with roasted beetroot, cauliflower and lentil salad or tuna poke (tekka don) bowl!
