Rhone, France
Since the birth of Domaine Bosquet des Papes in 1860, the Boiron family has passed their legacy from father to son for six generations and counting. It is located in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, a region in Rhone Valley famous for its papal ties and its glorious rich red wine displayed in distinctly heavy wine bottles embossed with the papal insignia. They pride themselves in keeping with traditional winemaking and respecting family expertise. It is no surprise that Bosquet des Papes produces some of the most sought-after wines in the region.
“This is one of the appellation’s most consistent and brilliant producers of Chateauneuf du Pape, with an impressive record of consistency and high quality dating back well over the thirty years I have been tracking the wines of this appellation…” – Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, on the Bosquet des Papes 2007 vintage
