Taking care of Mother Earth

It is wonderful to see people and organisations taking positive steps together in preserving our precious Mother Earth. The wine industry in New Zealand, for example, has achieved 96% of its vineyards certified sustainable, and 13% certified organic. It has pledged full carbon neutrality by 2050.

We are super proud that our winery partners are very in-tuned with the environment and sustainability. Our producer, Carrick, is one of the forefronts in this sector. It has been certified organic in 2008, which means that no pesticide, herbicide, fungicide or any synthetic fertilizers are used around the vineyard. They've done such a fantastic job so far that they even made it on the Financial Times! Here, they tell their tale alongside Juliet Speedy from the Financial Times Food Revolution
