Inspired by late founder Greg Trott, Wirra Wirra Catapult Shiraz reflects his unusual dreams and an elusive vision of building a giant catapult he could use to fling bottles onto neighbouring wineries. An ode to his pioneering spirit, this vibrant wine invites you in with aromas of fresh plum and raspberries with warm spiced notes of cinnamon, cocoa, clove, cardamom, nutmeg and dried ginger. Luscious flavours of blueberries, raspberries and plums layered with pâtisserie-like notes of flaky pastry, vanilla bean, butter biscuit and spice. Full in the mouth with smooth tannins and a lingering finish. Great with eggplant lasagna or sweet soy-glazed spareribs, and great on burger night, too. Pssst... it's last vintage was Decanter World Wine Awards Gold Winner!

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
