As Woodstock Estates’s Collect family matriarch, Mary McTaggart was a known enthusiast of all things aromatic. Her establishment of the winery’s very own herb garden was monumental, and it’s flourishing to this day. Needless to say, Riesling was her wine of choice, so it's only natural to name it after her! With grapes sourced only from a small north-facing vineyard on the highest part of the estate and only picked in the cool of the night, the freshness and aromatics are definitely preserved. Classic lime and citrus blossom with green apple and a hint of white pepper and sea spray. Vibrant nectarine, lychee and apricot flavours with a sweet brioche and zesty finish. Lean, with great acidity and well-balanced. Savour this with sushi or a fresh arugula, proscuitto and walnut salad!
