If you ever find yourself in South Australia, you must make a trip to Woodstock and experience it to the fullest! The Woodstock estate was established by Doug Collett in the early 70’s (the original property was named by English settlers, after their hometown of Woodstock). His middle son, Scott, took over the running of Woodstock in 1982 and released a range of wines that capture the essence of McLaren Vale. Woodstock wines is simply a staple in many homes. As Scott would tell you in person, “three bottles of red before bed”! Let’s cheers to that, mate.
And while you’re in their neighbourhood, don’t forget to visit their wildlife sanctuary for some of Aussie’s native animals!
