AN - the perfect name for Anima Negra's iconic flagship wine - is a great exemplar of the Spanish wine movement in the past twenty years. The grapes used to produce this wine are from vines that are 50-80 years old in a small region called Son Negre or 'dark place' - where the sun almost bakes the soil with its intense heat. AN offers concentrated fruit aromas and flavors of dark plum, crushed blackberry, leather and a touch of violet, smoke and spice. Juicy, delicious and absolutely satisfying! Excellent partner to a roasted lamb, spaghetti bolognaise, or Iberian ham and cheese platter!

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
