Brunello di Montalcino is a classic Italian, made with 100% Sangiovese and considered one of the most sought-after reds! Termed "Brunello" for its deep velvety brown fruit color at harvest, this wine gets its character from the finest pickings of grapes and a longer cellar time. A fine bouquet of vanilla, cherry, raspberry and licorice lingers on the nose, with a warm, smooth and long-lasting palate with flavours of wild berries and mediterranean herbs. Perfect with roasts or a rare T-bone steak, and also excellent to slowly savour its own.
