Carpineto was born in 1967 from Antonio M. Zaccheo and the late Giovanni C. Sacchet’s passion for the Tuscan terrain. Their obsession with the Chianti Classico appellation drove them to create truly great red wines with longevity, approachability and consistency. By moving away from traditional winemaking style and marrying the art of viticulture and winemaking science impeccably, they produced stunning award-winning wines throughout the decades. Their Vino Nobile de Montepulciano was named 3 times in the recent 4 vintages in Wine Spectator’s Top 100! All farming and viniculture processes are sustainable, natural and low-impact.
