Brunello di Montalcino is one of Italy’s most prestigious wines, made exclusively from Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown on the slopes of Montalcino, a picturesque Tuscan village just south of Siena. Needless to say, Carpineto Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is one of the highly sought-after bottles from the region! Crafted with only the best grapes from an already exceptional vintage and aged a little longer (hence ‘Riserva’), this wine offers intensity, complexity and elegance combined. Bold, long-lasting red fruit aromas linger as a gorgeous bouquet of wild berries, a touch of vanilla and spicy notes lure you in. Beautifully balanced with layers of concentrated berry fruit, velvety-soft tannins and complex flavours that continue to evolve. Be sure to decant before serving... an excellent "meditation" wine, this is great to drink on its own – but also incredible with a rare T-bone steak or a platter of local roast meats!

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
