Bring Southern Rhône to your living room with Domaine Bosquet des Pape Châteauneuf-du-Pape Chante Le Merle! A true crowd-pleaser and a great hook for those who aren’t Franco-vin lovers, this wine has impeccable balance, concentration, and harmony. Grapes harvested from 80 to 90 years old vines, the result is an overture of ripe dark berry, cherry and plum aromas with faint accents of spice, licorice and chocolate. Sweet raspberry, cherry preserve flavours with hints of mushroom, lavender, rosemary, and sage. Let the wine evolve and an elegant array of floral, rhubarb, cedar, and tobacco arise. Silky tannins and lingering finish. Cozy with a Morrocan vegetable stew with couscous or with roast quail with morel mushrooms. Only 1,000 cases produced. A powerful and complex wines with cellar potential for many years.
