The Falkenberg Shiraz is Hewitson's top-end shiraz cuvee so it goes without saying that itÍs made with the best grapes from a single vineyard. Meaning 'falcon mount', or where the falcon nests, this brooding purple wine makes a perfect gift as it can benefit from some extra time of 'nesting'. Luscious aromas of dark fruit, leather, cedar and sweet cigar while rich flavors of ripe plums, blackberry, licorice and mocha in the mouth. Velvety and smooth as you continue to drink.

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
