Loving your sweets but want something different? Louis Guntrum Silvaner Eiswein ticks both boxes! Crafted with Silvaner, a German grape variety and considered a Riesling alternative, it has high level of acidity like the famous grape, making a fantastic contender for sweet winemaking. With fruit gathered at -10oC, the water in the grapes is frozen, and when pressed, give highly concentrated and the most natural ‘liqueurs’ – this bottle contains the juice of a whole kilo of grapes! Golden hued with natural, nobly luscious sweetness and high fruit concentration, this bottle is full of honey, dried apricots, raisins and plummy deliciousness. Pair this with a creamy slice of Basque cheesecake or goat's cheese on bread with honey – it's also simply lovely on its own.

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
