Intense aromas of ripe dark fruit with sweet, creamy notes from the barrel and a bit of spiciness at the finish. Silky smooth, wonderfully full and very complex palate. This is a wine worth savouring on its own – definitely a bottle reserved for the end of the evening for a night-cap with a cigar!
