When it comes to making their Reserve Shiraz, Wild Duck Creek Estate leave no stone unturned! It's the one the family call their "pinnacle of Shirazes": an exceptional quality, basket-pressed wine boasting grapes from up to 3 estate vineyards across the region, all grown in 500 million year old Cambrian period volcanic soils. Only meticulously selected fruit from perfect patches of vineyard go into this bottle! Brilliantly aromatic with bright red fruits, floral notes (like violet), tobacco leaf, dried herbs and toasty vanilla. Elegant and powerful with a vibrant fruit medley of mulberry, blackberry and redcurrant coating the mouth, beautifully balanced by flavours of five-spice, vanilla and nutmeg. Black tea-like tannins keep you coming back for more! Truly outstanding and great for cellaring for 20+ years... but ready to enjoy now if you can't wait. Should that be the case, open it for a special Sunday dinner with painstakingly prepared rack of lamb or dongpo pork.

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
