A long-standing, iconic Aussie favorite for the past five decades, Church Block was actually the first wine produced under the Wirra Wirra label; named after one of its original vineyards next to the small Bethany Church located across the road from their century-old cellars. This dark crimson beauty opens with classic Cab-Sauv aromas of blackberry, leaf and briar followed by plush plums and wild herbs, with Church Block's timeless notes of five spice, dark chocolate and ripe mixed berries. Gorgeous, abundant bunhes of dark fruit flavours with cassis, plums and black cherries. Perfectly balanced with delightful fruit concentration and ripe tannins, this easy-drinking wine is a lively one! Beautiful to drink now, this wine also has the potential to age over the next 15 years. Enjoy it with pepper-crusted grilled sirloin steak with brown butter soy sauce or a portobello burger with halloumi and pickled beetroot!

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
