As one of Wirra Wirra's flagship wines, R.S.W. Shiraz is the epitome of elegance and refinement of a McLaren Vale red! A tribute to the original estate owner back in 1894 (the eccentric Robert Strangways Wigley), this fabulous wine offers luscious aromas of fruit and spice with a seductive bouquet of mulberry, dried figs, cinnamon and clove, plus waves of warm spice, charcuterie and rich black fruit with underlying hints of dark chocolate. Vivacious flavours of satsuma plums wrapped up with wood polish notes, vibrant acidity and powdery tannins. Savoury, spiced and rich all through the lengthy finish! This bottle is great to drink now, or cellar for up to 20 years to let it develop! Will go brilliantly with skirt steak with peppery shiitake mushrooms, or some simple grilled eggplant drizzled with olive oil!

Here's how to interpret the ratings (in case you were wondering what's that number below the price). If you don't see a rating, it doesn't mean the wine is any less yummy. At the end of the day, wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared.
