Hear ye, hear ye – cleanse your palate and brace yourself before you taste Wirra Wirra Vintage Bell! Named after their famed ¾ tonne bell, which is used to announce the start and finish of each harvest on the estate (as well as for other noted celebrations), this Cabernet Sauvignon is literally the bells and whistle of Wirra Wirra! All the fruit that comes into making this wine are from low yielding, mature McLaren Vale vineyards. It has a classic appeal with red and blackcurrant aromas, interlaced with chocolate mint, tobacco and a bit of seasoned cedar and leather. Gorgeously ripe plum and cassis on the palate and a touch of fresh cedar. Fine tannins and long finish. An exceptional bottle to be enjoyed now or a few more years down the road.
