Paying homage to a very special home, Woodstock Cottage Block Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, bold wine that's classically McLaren Vale. In 1976, the Woodstock family planted forty-three rows of Cabernet Sauvignon vines next to a little 19th century cottage on the estate; home to various family members for nearly 50 years as the winery and vineyards have grown in the surrounding land. This wine has intense, vibrant aromas of blackcurrant, plum and a touch of mulberry with rich, fruit-driven flavours and a complex touch of chocolate-mint. Soft and balanced in the mouth with plush tannins and natural acidity. A delight while young, but will benefit from 15+ years in the cellar, too! Try it with black pepper beef stir-fry or a hearty lamb stew.
